On Sunday 16 June, which just happens to be the anniversary of the Ford Motor Company, hundreds of Mustangs and other classic cars will gather on the Esplanade in front of the museum for a "Mustang & Coffee" event.

The concept of "Cars & Coffee" is a dynamic exhibition of fun cars, on the beautiful Esplanade in front of the museum. The aim is to show your car to the public, drink a coffee, and have a chat with like-minded people. And, on the same day, you can naturally also visit the exhibition "Ford Mustang 60 Years, celebrating the golden sixties" in the museum.

Participation with your Ford Mustang or any other classic car at ‘Mustang & Coffee’ is free, but you must register beforehand. Hurry, because the number of places is limited.

On the Autoworld terrace, there will be an a bar with American specialties to top off the experience.

And that's not all - we've got a delightful surprise in store for you! In collaboration with our Partner Vander Haeghen & Co, the most exquisite Mustangs will be judged by our panel of experts. The prize ceremony will take place at 12:00, right by the Autoworld terrace.

Do you want to be part of this fantastic event and stand a chance to win one of the coveted Vander Haeghen & Co Awards? Register now and ensure your Mustang catches the eye of our esteemed jury members!

Attention: Please note that on Sunday 16 June, the BXL tour 2024 will also be taking place. As a result, some access roads will be closed until around 10am.
Coming from outside Brussels, the easiest way to reach Autoworld is via the E40 (Leuven-Brussels). Then take the middle tunnel (Kortenberg Tunnel) to Autoworld. Coming from the small ring road, take the Madou exit and then follow the small roads to Autoworld. We recommend that all drivers use the "Waze" app.
Access to the Esplanade is via the corner of Avenue Nervia and Avenue Gauloise (behind Autoworld)

So cruise along the Brussels tunnels and boulevards towards Autoworld and enjoy the romantic feeling of filling the city with the sight and sound of your car on a low traffic day. An important notice is that classic cars are exempt from the Brussels Low Emmision Zone restriction. Youngtimers need to check if these restrictions apply. In which case, of course, a day pass can always be bought.
